26.5.-29.06.2018

Opening: Friday, 25.05.2018

Association for research, documentation and artist representation SKLOP cordially invites you to the opening of LEFTOVERS: Ars Kozara in Artistic Research, the first solo exhibition in Sarajevo of the artist group RIZBA, Trebinje/BA. The group consist of Mirjana Kodžo, Nevena Kosović, Milica Lojović, Radivoj Milić and Miloš Vučičević. At SKLOP they will present “Archeological Research”, a collective project conceived during their participation at the 8. Ars Kozara in 2015. Without presuming that this will be the last manifestation of Ars Kozara, this particular project by RIZBA did not remain a participating contribution. Conceived as a critical reaction towards the neglect of the cultural production and its preservation in Bosnia-Hercegowina – especially in the field of contemporary art practice –, RIZBA’s project inadvertently became a example of a possible alternative model for historization of cultural memory, namely by the methods of artistic research.

Opening: Friday, May 25, 2018, 7 pm

Public talk: Saturday, May 26, 2018, 2 pm
