MIROSLAV KARIĆ

Miroslav Karić (1975) holds a BA in Art History from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade (2000). Since 2001, Karić was a curator at the Independent Art Association Remont, an organization which through different activities (gallery, publishing, projects, actions and initiatives) works actively on the promotion of contemporary art. Karić was additionally a member of the editorial team of Remont Art Magazine and was regularly editing the Exhibition section in the monthly cultural guide Yellow Cab Belgrade (2004-2010). Since 2010 he is a member of the organizational and curatorial team of the project initiative Fotodokumenti, as well as a member of the organizational team of the Dimitrije Bašičević Mangelos Award. He further is a member of the International Association of Art Critics AICA. Since January 2020 Karić is working as a curator in Museum of Contemporary Art Belgrade.
