On the occasion of the open call for the The ZVONO Award 2018,  SKLOP is organizing info events about the award history and the registration process, thus in the cities of Banja Luka, Široki Brijeg, Sarajevo and Trebinje.

The info events are conceived to provide more information regarding this unique contemporary art award in Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting of a two-months residency in New York for the award winner.

In the first part of the presentation, guests will be informed about the award’s background and history, its founder in the U.S. as well as about the local partner SKLOP in Bosnia and Herzegovina, responsible for the award organisation. In the second part the eligibility, as well as the application and selection process will be clarified. The main focus of the event will be put on how to create an artistic portfolio, thus by showing concrete examples.

After the presentation, the visitors will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to talk directly to the presentator.

The invitation to the info events is addressed to students of Academy of Fine Arts or similar educational institutions, active artists, cultural institutions’ employees, as well as to all citizens who are interested in the event.
