How to write about exhibitions?

Workshop

Friday, 13.10. & 20.10.2017, 2-5 pm

Call for participation!

SKLOP is organising a workshop about the skills and techniques of art review writing.

While exhibitions are often mentioned in the dially press in Bosnia-Herzegowina, they are just very rarely properly analysed, mediated and reviewed. The aim of the workshop is to enable the participants to differ between different text forms coming from different sources, such as press release, exhibition announcement, report, interview, exhibition text, and exhibition review. Based on concrete examples, namely the articles published on the occasion of Nina Komel’s exhibition Was ist Princip?, the two key topics of discussion will be the author perspective and the difference between opinions and arguments.

WORKSHOP PROGRAMME:

Part 1
Friday, October 13, 2017, 2-4 pm
– Analysis of published articles: 2-3.30 pm
